So, as I stated in my intro thread, my family is setting up a new mixed reef tank for our Christmas gift. Had intended to get a Red Sea Reefer 300 but my LFS advised against it. They pointed us to a Proclear Prostar 90 instead. While I'm not thrilled with what we've got, we have it and will make the best of it. The doors were mounted slightly offset from one another so there's no making them mate properly with the hinge adjustments. I asked if the sump had a refugium section and was told yes. That not being the case, I'm going to have to choose between a refugium and a protein skimmer. There also wasn't room for a roller mat after assurances there was. All that aside, the tank is set up and we got water into it yesterday. Here's some pics of what we've got.

Thanks, that is the stock lid. We arranged and rearranged the rock work on the dining room table for several hours to come up with that arrangement. Then had to do it "backwards" because of the overflow on the back of the tank 😂

Lookin great so far! Sorry you had to settle for things you didn't like but now you've got a great family hobby going. Merry Christmas a little early!
