Hello everyone hope you are doing well. I recently was one of the winners of the bulk reef supply Black Friday doorbuster and was able to get an Apex A3 for only $250! I am very excited as I have waited an Apex since I had my Red Sea reefer 250 years ago ago before I had to move. I am planning on upgrading from my Nuvo 20 in the future and wanted to make sure I had a controller for whatever I got. What are the first things you do when setting up an apex or some things that people forget to do that are vital to the monitoring of your aquarium? Thank you in advance!

Once it is all set up on your internet, then I do have some ideas. I took it from there. :)

I guess plan out your outlets and label them on the outlets and the cords. This helps a ton. Programming the pumps is a whole other ballgame. If you are going that route. Heaters/chillers should only be plugged into the 4/8 outlets to prevent issues of amps. Calibrate the pH probe regularly (at least every 6 months).
Design the dashboard so it works for you.
