If you like shimmer like natural sunlight would look, kessil will do that for you.

I have 2 AI HD 32's and one HD 26. (for my 180g tank) It took me a while to figure out the correct programming for my system but these are so much better than the bulbs I had years ago!

My name is Lorie and I live in Maryland (hail from Tennessee). I am a longtime freshwater enthusiast and am delving into my first saltwater/reef tank. My husband had a FOWLR tank for several years but this is his first reef tank as well. We just added water to the tank last night! Let the adventure begin!

Lighting is a real hot topic of discussion in the community...:beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:. Its probably one of the top favorite things reefers love to talk about.
IMO, lighting is like cars...some people prefer to drive a fancy super car, even though they are only driving to the super market and some people prefer to drive a more practical car but may decide to turn it into a high performance racing vehicle. Basically its all about preference and budget. And for me there is no wrong answer on this topic.

For me, I have both the AI Hydras and the PopBloom black boxes. The tank looks great and good luck!
