I have been in the aquarium hobby for 2 years i think, while it has been mostly a freshwater journey, i am now planning on building my first ever reef aquarium, that's why i joined the forums, while for the moment i don't have a saltwater tank, i am planing to do one soon, so i will gladly accept recomendations, tips and other things to help me get started in this amazing side of the Aquarium hobby.

I was the same . When your able to stand up after the sticker shock , and If you tell us what size of tank ect there is lots of help. Especially how to not spend money needlessly . Unless you are wealthy then go Nuts!. Anyway when you get ready to cycle if you want I have a " fishless " cycling article to share if you want. Lots of differant viewpoints on this subject But Mines the best. This place is a quagmire and you pick your opinions as you go don't forget # reef squad . A collection of experienced people ( I am not in the inner circle ). If I were to start over I might go a bunch of small tanks all over the house. You have to be single or have a blind partner for that
