Hey yall,
First time shipper here. I am planning on shipping through FedEx. i am a hobbyist and in no way volume ship. What kind of rates can I expect for O/N shipping. I tried to check FedEx website but am so confused. Sorry for being so bad at this. Also what time should I ship? I would expect late in the day would be best, but I also want to guarantee O/N delivery. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Cham, what is it that's confusing you on the FedEx website? You should be able to enter both zipcodes and the weight of package (approximate weight) to get an approximation of cost. You'll want to find out how late you can drop it off at your FedEx drop off location while still getting an overnight delivery. Typically, I drop off at around 2-3PM but I think I could drop off as late as 4 and still get overnight.

Make absolutely sure to insure the package. The insurance is to protect yourself, not the buyer.

Price can vary depending on distance/weight/size but you can expect to pay 30-60 bucks for overnight in my experience. There are walkthroughs on shipping coral on various sites and tubes if you need assistance on that end. Your best bet is to call the fedex location you plan on dropping off at.

Cool I found that link now...great! i was barking up the wrong tree. thanks
