Loving the way its starting to look and glad Ive put the zoas on their own island as they are alreadying filling in their plugs.

Sorry everyone been crazy busy here... lots of projects around the house and vehicle repairs have kept me from updating you all.

The tank is doing amazing. The monti that was given to me for free to see if I could keep alive is just exploding, the anemone is doing awesome since its split and is becoming HUGE I cant believe they havent split yet but they look amazing, the torch is steadily growing and the candycane has grown a few more heads. The zoas are doing decent and the mushrooms are growing but not taking over... Thank god some have amazing color variations in them.

So now that we have talked about the good we will talk about the bad... Ive been battling bubble algae and its a back and forth idk where it hitchhiked from. Other then that its great.

Ill take a picture and post tomorrow.

I also scored a 180 gallon tank for free today so stay tuned for that slow build out which will include resealing, painting, drilling and the move of everything into it.

The 75 in its current state. I am winning the war against the bubble algae.

The 180 i drilled and put a couple coats of paint on the back wall.

I also scored an eshopps refugium sump with a bunch of filter socks

The sump is located in a repurposed entertainment stand in the basement below the tank.

Currently working on installing some jack posts to help with the weight as a piece of mind.

Also got some 58 gallon barrels for a bigger mix station and rodi storage.

Have a couple more coats of paint to put on the tank and flip it upside down to paint the lower trim. After that Im going to reseal it just for peace of mind even though the silicone seems to be good and had no leaks when filled for a month.

Scored a skimmer for the 180. Did some house plumbing work sweating in a T and a valve to 1/4" compression so the rodi has its own feed instead of off the utility sink faucet. Then ran the output line to where my new rodi water storage tank is going to be.

Equipment wise all I need is another radion xr30 pro gen 3 and 2 mp40s or the jebao dmp40s.

Working on cutting and welding the stand together plan on having it all tacked together in the next couple days.

Good luck with the stand!

Thanks its being made with 2x2 3/8" thick 😅

Winning the battle against the bubble algae invasion in the 75 gallon. Thanks to the hardwork and dedication of the emerald crabs and the foxface. I have also been manually removing which sucks to do.

Know the feeling I had a bubble invasion(and aiptasia) in a 90 gallon . Manually pulling out was perplexingly both satisfying and frustrating. I ended up getting a Foxface myself, though partially due to wanting one in any case. Got a Copperband which eventually did a good job with the nem invasion. Right now I’ve backpedaled a bit and was tankless for about 6 months , though I just picked up up an IM 25 lagoon AIO. By the way rockwork looks very nice.

As far as the woman is concerned i needed the foxface definitely not because I was wanting one anyways 😅

Thank you and very nice.

The 75 gallon is getting better. Ive almost eradicated all the bubble algae now. Got a few hammers for stupid cheap as well.

Been working on the stand for the 180gallon. Its all welded up just need to hit it with the grinder and flap disks before painting it.

Pictures of it before I got it all welded up.

Finished paining the stand last night and put it in place. Good lord is it heavy 😅

Now Im ripping out the silicone to redo the seals just for peace of mind it did hold water for 2 months with no problems but 180 gallons of water is a little too much of a risk.

Thank you sir. 😊

The 180 is on the stand. Now to finish painting and start the plumbing to the basement as well as installing a jack post as an added safety precaution.

Ive been forgetting to post the 75 but the war on algae has victory on the horizon its almost fully eradicated.

The hammers I got have doubled in size in the last week as well.

All plumbing upstairs has been completed. Installed a jack post for peace of mind. Started putting rodi water in the tank as well. Just need to finish the plumbing in the basement and start aquascaping the rocks.

Finished the plumbing into the sump and return. Everything is filled with rodi water.

Started working on the scape so far. Ill get it as far as I can since after its running I plan to move the rocks from the 75 into it.

Going to hook up the return pump today after work to make sure all my joints are good as well as setting the animal overflow valves.

Still need another xr30 to go with the 2 I plan on moving from the 75 as well as the sand.

If I cant source another xr30 pro gen 3 I might go with the 150 watt nicrew hyperreefs been seeing good things about them.
