After looking at that pic, I really need to tidy stuff up more. Especially with the new setup going in and starting dosing soon. I may have to figure out how to route the wire for a new circuit to that wall just for the new tank and lab bench.![]()
Went ahead and ordered new tubing and some missing couplers.
That way I am sure I’m starting off right when I calibrate it.
Stuff should be here in a couple days.
I'd leave it. You know it will make Chris nuts.Oh and yes, Crusso, the metal fish is off center. I will be fixing it. Technically it is centered but in the wall not centered on the tanks.
someone from a local group pointed me to an eBay sale for medical grade continuous duty in the right size for the maxi 2.2 doser and says it works perfectly and basically doesn’t ever fail.
Here’s progress on the new setup. Gotta clean up the mess and set the height after the tank gets here.

Some very nice deals! The stand is the 93 cube stand. So, no, it's not centered. I took measurements and used a laser level to make sure it would be centered on the new tank. I will put the stand there and double check before placing the tank in case I have to change something.
The bins were free when the oral surgeon my wife worked for closed. I got over a hundred of them so the color bothers me until I add up how much I would have to spend to do all matching ones.
I got back on the cabinet doors and got the slide outs done this weekend. Should finish up just in time to work on the tank this weekend.
Update on the truck. I found the issue with the Tach being intermittent. I have to pull the gauge cluster to get to it. It's a loose ground. I will replace the broken speedometer cable while I am at it since it came in.
Also, my son bought a literal pallet of Ford transmissions and got me an M5OD v2 to swap out instead of the SROD. (gear heads will note: It's not really a Ford transmission. It is however, a Mazda transmission with a Ford bolt pattern and spline match.)
I decided while the transmission is out, I will take off the hood, adapt the OBS hood liner to work on it, pull the engine and clean the engine bay and replace the gaskets and paint the engine whilst it's out. It will honestly only take about 4 more hours and paint dry time to all that. Gotta love old straight six engines!
So, for a total of $300 in parts and some labor, I will have a new hoodliner, speedometer cable, painted engine and a 5 speed!
We plan on doing it while Daniel is down for a close friend of the boy's wedding in November. All hands on deck!
I forgot, @That Crusso Kid the deal on this isn't just how cheap the transmission is, it's a net zero. I got a laser job doing trophies for a film festival and it more than paid for it and the supplies. I know you LOVE hearing how I get ridiculous deals.![]()
I’m here for ya!Some very nice deals!
I keep telling myself that the next time I need something to have you get it for me. Then I promptly forget about it.
