So not sure what happened but my wrasse died.
Heres the story so the past 2-3 days my wrasse has as hiding and not sure why but I couldn’t even find him . Just to let you know I’ve had this fish for at least 4 weeks, then all the sudden boom. All water has been normal not a change and there’s never been aggression he kinda looks like he has a few inflamed scales kinda pushing out with a small blown up stomach so maybe dropsy but not sure how and why now.

That belly bulge looked painful. I have no idea what may have caused that?

Sorry you lost a friend.

The tail and fins suggest possible aggression leading to detah.
Any notable signs of heavy breathing or loss of appetite?

Dropsy rare in marine other than with uronema and bloating from Constipation. I dont see much for raised scales or rectal issues but can be internal also

The tail loss was my blue hermit crab. He’s never been bullied or had any signs of aggression shown towards him and no heavy breathing. I guess you could say he did have a loss of appetite because he was hiding for two days
