I have this slime on my sand bed and on some of my rock. The slime sticks to the rock and sticks pieces of sand to it. I can’t suck it out with a siphon the sand that sticks to it weighs it down. I have to manual remove the slime and the sand that is attacked to it as well.
My baby rbta has not opened in a month. It's about the size of a pencil eraser. It's still attached and it's tentacles are still orange. Water parameters seem acceptable and stable. Everything else in the tank appears fine. The nem was doing fine for months prior. Flow and lights have not changed.
A few days ago, everything was looking good all of a sudden after feeding the corals oyster feast, one of my hammer polyps started to close a little bit so I did a water change only 10 gallons and today a second one looks a little more closed.
It used to look like this less than a week ago
OK well my girls aren’t special. I’m probably the one being special. The past two days one of my acans have been pretty closed up. Today another one just a single polyp and lastly, my purple hammer/green the front, two heads were big and open today but the back too we’re kind of closed, but for...
My anthia might have been doing this the hole time but I don’t think so. This fish just started gasping ( opening his mouth wide ??? ) and then closing and swimming and eating normal but ever now and then he’s like ahhhhhhhh ( don’t have picture so you get subtitles) what do you think it is and...
Most of them look really good in my opinion and I’ve had them ranging from 5 to 4 weeks the only ones that are acting up at the moment are the flower pot, Birdsnest, and Duncan they have only been acting up for about a day or two, but not sure why here are some pictures along with my levels...
Earlier today I was doing tank maintenance and must’ve turned off my lights and when I turned them back on for some reason it didn’t go through the light schedule so when I came home today, four hours later around 3 o’clock, the lights were still set on my timer as night I slowly ramp them up...
So not sure what happened but my wrasse died.
Heres the story so the past 2-3 days my wrasse has as hiding and not sure why but I couldn’t even find him . Just to let you know I’ve had this fish for at least 4 weeks, then all the sudden boom. All water has been normal not a change and there’s...
Just kind of a random question here, but I was doing research and one of the things that caught my attention was stray voltage electricity and electricity in general in the water can it affect fish, corals and vertebrates?
So far everything is ok but here is the update for today.

These guys aren’t doing great
Three polyps have been closed for a while
Not sure quite what is going on because meanwhile my other corals are thriving.
Me being special me I accidentally added to much ro and by to much only enough to move my salinity from 26 to 25 and might have caused my aneneome to shrink should I be worried I got it back up but should it be ok lights also aren’t fully on but it was bigger this morning
Normally looks like
Not sure what is going on or should I be concerned I already posted this a day or two ago but it’s happened again it was big and open today and actually moved a little bit but tonight it moved back to it’s original spot and looks like this
I’m looking to get some anthias which one is better for a 90 gallon?
I’m qt all the new fish so could they go into a twenty gallon for 2-3 weeks and if so at what copper level
If one is better how many times do they need to be fed along with how many need to be in a group
I just purchased these two clownfish but I noticed on one of them a little discoloration I’m new to the hobby and I’m not sure if it’s discoloration or the color of the clownfish it seems only one fish has it. Does it look like anything to you guys?
We’ve had the powder brown for 3 weeks. Acclimation went well, but on week 2 started showing signs of a small head bump surface injury. After treatment of Kanaplex, it has progressed into fin and tail rot. I’m not seeing it as aggression. Tank mates are derasa clam, firefish, tiny clownfish, 2x...
Hello All I made a post the other day with a picture showing a brown spot on my scopas tang and watched it for about a week. It definitely has increased in size and as I stated in the post water parameters are good the tang is eating well whether its nori, mysis, or pellets. Tang is a little shy...
