Googling, various vendors recommend a minimum 125 gallon tank, and as active as that fish is in that aquarium, I believe it.

Welp! Let me get my feet wet with a smaller tank and then hopefully upgrade to a bigger tank in the future to house one of these.

The beauty of them is they are commonly sold to the hobby as both a male and female pair; I had two in a 150-gallon. Very nice fish. A little more docile than other triggers, in my experience. 😏

Blue jaw trigger. Won’t bother corals but, being a trigger, may go after some inverts. Gets roughly 10-12”, so needs space

Beautiful fish
Blue throat/ blue jaw triggers are stunning, fairly peaceful triggers.
Agreed they wont bother corals. My female didnt care about inverts, but she was fairly small

Lots of open space for zooming!
