Can someone help ID this fish for me? And tell me its diet?

Yes, bigeye catalufa, squirrel fish family, likes lower light levels & is a predator, like a lot of squirrels. If it fits or thinks it might in its mouth, it’s food. Completely harmless to larger sized fish, prone to eye issues though, hope this helps

It likes brine shrimp, krill, sauid, clam and meaty foods. May be why its spitting the Mysis
