Fish not eating algae

So i have had a midas blenny for about 1 month now only eats mysis i put different types of algae out on clips twice a day and wont touch the stuff yesterday i got a baby purple tang and lemonpeel angelfish the angelfish ate some mysis this smorning purple tang is very shy and hides when i go near the tank so he didnt get anything i have 2 clips in my tank with algae on and none of them touch it or even go near it i have 2 lttiel fishes sea vegies, red garlic enchanched algae, and some other 1 anny tips to get them eating the algae i have ordered some elastic bands to try attach it too the rock coming tomorrow

i have seen the lemonpeel grazing the rocks but not the tang

The Midas blenny is not so much an algae grazer and requires a meaty diet.

I’ve had 1 for over 12 months and never seen it even graze on the rocks nor have I ever put any on a clip.

No, they are planktivor type blennies. They mimic anthias in the wild.
