I'm home from school over break, and decided to improve my Dad's tank setup to make maintenance easier for him (read: so he will do water changes). We were at an LFS today, and he fell in love with a reef ready Marineland 150 Cube (36x36x27) that was listed at $399. Long story short, I now need to build a stand for that tank and prepare to transfer the contents of his running 150 in addition to improving the existing maintenance situation before I head back to school.

Upgrading the maintenance station will involve ripping a bathtub out of an adjacent bathroom and moving all of the ro/di equipment up from the basement.

I remember seeing people reference a diy stand building thread on here before, but cannot find it now. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Pictures to follow.
