I bought a royal gramma and clownfish about a week ago from my LFS. Went back yesterday for some things and when looking at the tanks they mentioned how they may have a possible ich outbreak due to the loss of fish.
They said they have not seen any signs, such as white spots but are not sure what it is. The two fish I bought are currently in quarantine with prazi pro. The fish are doing great, eating and no signs of disease or ich. Should I be treating copper at 2.5ppm to be safe?? If so for how long?

You need to assume every LFS has Ich. Most run low salinity and even low doses of copper to ensure the fish survive long enough to be sold.

Like said, keep an eye out. Ich will show up if it’s there.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a bad thing to treat with copper while in qt just to be safe. I’ve had things slip past qt because I didn’t medicate.
Copper should be for 30 days if I’m correct.
