Yes it stays. It's not dinos. I scoped it.

It’s time to change carbon in reactor and add 4 tablespoons of GFO to the carbon. Run reactor fully open. Your phosphate it a little high and I bet the algae will clear up drastically once you get phosphates lower.

What testing kits are you all using for PO4 and NO3?

I have been using Selifert with the current tank. My last tank I was using Hanna Ultra Low range tests.

Salifert for both. I run high po4 though so exact numbers dont matter. The difference in impact between 0 and .02 is huge, but the difference between .1 and .25 is whatever. If you ever thought of running ULNS, go with a checker. Otherwise salifert will get you close enough even if it is hard to figure out 'exactly' what your measurement is.

I have my niece's birthday party on Saturday, unless I decide to ditch the sticky fingered mongrels early on Saturday. I'll be out with the vendors on Saturday night, though.

I just opened R2R and the first thread I see is my thread. If it wasn't for @OrchidMiss post I wouldn't have know there was new posts here. I looked at my notifications and 0 for this thread and other Build threads that I follow. So odd.

I need to get a new car so my hubby has to drive me to the RAP NJ. I wanted to go Sunday for some deals but nooo I have to go to a graduation party. They came to my sons and daughters grad party. I will be at RAP on Saturday.
