Fixture sitting on a tank

Hello,

I have this Aquatic life 4 bulbs fixture and weighs about 8 lbs. It is safe to sit on my tank?

I would like to hang it but I can no longer find the suspension kit :(

Personally, I wouldn’t be comfortable with that (but let’s see whether others agree or disagree). Put aside the potential for a lot of salt creep onto/into the unit, due to how low it sits over open water, but it also seems heavy sitting on that glass, and precariously positioned— especially if it gets bumped hard one good time. Glass breakage? Electrocution? Sorry to sound so critical, but... :(

Yes, I am not comfortable too letting it sit.
I hope I can find the suspension kit.
