Flower anenomes have arrived! I also got 16x peppermint shrimp.
I am burning from pulling these guys out of the bags- they really sting!

How and where do you guys suggest placing these guys?
#reefsquad
That’s s lot of Rock Flowers! I’ve never felt the sting from mine, thankfully. I would place them near the rocks at the bottom. Most don’t like to be blasted with light. I’ve had some move to the top and some half under a rock before.

Congrats! They can really make a tank pop. Once they get themselves settled with their foot in a crevice, they will move around a lot less than most nems (but will also be hard to move manually.) I usually keep them near the bottom, and if I have a sloped rock face with a bunch of small holes in it, that's just about the perfect place for a bunch of them, creating a garden of rock flowers. :)

Love it! Where did you get the RFA's from?
I picked them up from a friend in Florida. He goes collecting and had just gotten back- I got them within 48 hours of being in the ocean.
Let me know if you want any, I can try to get some for you or hook you guys up!

Update:
I spent about 4 hours today reconfiguring my sump.
I only jammed one pump and killed another trying to get the sand out that I was using for a DSB, which failed.
It looks much better now.
I am very impressed with the noopsyche lights that I set up Monday.
I am hopefully adding 2 more MP40s to the tank for more distributed flow. I also just got a new kessil H380 and will be setting it up for some cheato over the weekend. I hope you all have a happy Christmas and a awesome start to the new year!

Just as a note, I will most likely not post until after New Years, so consider this the last post of the year!

I just received a WXM from marine depot.
I opened it up and found that the inner electronic are not secured and are very loose inside the grey case and wiggle around to the point where it is hard to plug in the aquabus cable.
I opened the case up to discover that unlike my other modules, it is lacking any hot glue/adhesive to hold it down.
My plan is to add a bit of hot glue to this spot without any circuit tracings and hopefully that will fix it.
Good idea?
Thanks!
