Thank you. Was discouraging there for a while as a few other loops were tossed in at the same time. (Not to mention I have a potential move to look forward to in March) lol

Just as a heads up, I had planaria -- Nothing was getting rid of it. I mean NOTHING. THey survived dips, they survive full tank FWE treatments.... But they didn't survive my new Leopard wrasse.

That's not always a guarantee with animals of course, but it destroyed the planaria in about a week..

I definitely have flat worms, unlike what I saw here, they have a split back end. I will post a pic tomorrow when I siphon some out. They seem to like my recordias and other mushrooms most, although I have found them on trumpets/candy and seasons greeting monti. What I have been doing which works pretty effectively is I take a long piece of rigid airline and attach it to flexible. Then I start siphon into a 120um sieve in the sump below. It sucks them right off corals and into the sieve! I have eliminated most this way. Currently don't have a wrasse but I think I will get one as a preventive.
Sounds like the same ones I’m working on. They love the fleshy part of my lps and ricordias too but someone told me they aren’t the acro eating kind

I’m killing planaria with bayer right now. Can’t speak for egg sacks of course but with 10percent bayer to water after 10 minutes these guys never moved again. I even drained the dip, put fresh saltwater to see if they came back to life but they continued to shrivel and lay there with no signs of life after over an hour i tossed them

If Im not mistaken that is an Aceole Flatworm- (Not sure if thats how its spelled) I dont believe those are bad.

These flatworms have without doubt, have been the cause of a lot of Ricordia, Euphyllia, and Zoanthid decline in my tank. Some corals like chalices, monti’s, and cyphastrea, don’t seem affected.

I'm glad this worked out for you, I'm currently just basting my sps and dosing kz flatworm stop until I can get a proper quarantine set up. Did the encrusted bases left on the rocks continue to decline after you pulled the main frag? Did you just wait until you all the sps bases were completely dead and then start the fallow period? I'm trying to get a game plan together and your plan seemed to work quite well.

I didn’t do anything with the bases. They looked like junk for a while though. Then like magic, I saw Polyp extension and coloration on the bases. Slowly I’ve watched the old bases encrust and grow out fairly quickly. Just waited it out and when it felt right went with my gut on a test subject that responded well. So far I have yet to see any decline or inkling of a continued issue.

Some super blue shots of current status. I’m calling it a WIN! Thanks everyone for the encouragement! I’m here for ya if anyone needs any uplifting words as well. Best wishes to anyone battling these pests. Just know, with determination, a bit of work, and some constructive criticism, it can be beat! Happy Reefer!!
