Keep up the good work. I know it's a pain but its treatable and survivable. You can do it!
Thank you for the encouragement. I’m looking at it in a good light now that there’s a plan in action! When I first found them, not so much. Lol!
Once all done I’m going to need to get in touch for some of that Cliff’s and a few other pieces.

The Lafishguy has a video on flatworms you may want to see. It actually shows what flatworms look like and how to get rid of them. Keep up the good work.

Posssibly, but this is the sure fire way I opted for. When I basted the acros my damsels would eat the worms. Granted they’re not hunters like the wrasse, watching them eat them made me feel a little better. Lol. I may add a wrasse to my frag tank just to have one for future additions during qt. I really needed a qt/frag tank setup anyway, so this kinda pushed me into getting it setup.

A wrasse, specifically a 6 line, in your QT would be a great addition. They are a total PIA towards other fish, but VERY effective hunters.
Being the only fish in the QT would work well.
Awesome! I do like the six line, but know of their potentially aggressive nature so pretty much blocked them out the main display, but having one in the qt sounds like a great plan! Thanks!

I’ve gotten my overflow, return pump, skimmer, lights, ato, and a few other random goodies ordered. Light should be here tomorrow, everything else on Thursday. Pretty stoked to get this rolling.

New light in today. Didn’t have the power cords or hanging wires with it so I had to improvise till they get me the parts. Not pretty at moment but will be all cleaned up and look way better once proper hangers bring it down a bit and then utilize the shelf on top.

Well, today is Day 5. Waiting on some replacement water to mix up so I can get another dip session on. Was awaiting a few parts, but somehow they got delayed. It kept saying delivery by 8 today so I went ahead and setup my sump. Buuuuut, the overflow and return pump never showed. So, I guess I’ll just run the skimmer and let it break in till tomorrow. Lol!! Did get my float valve for ato and an SC aquarium 301 skimmer in today.

I think my wife is on to me.... she keeps saying “Nice “temporary” tank” (which a temporary tank really was my plan, but I can’t halfway do something, all or nothing) She’s warming up to the idea of it potentially being a permenant setup I think. Well, I kinda see her point when the living room looks like a blue void one could get sucked into. Hahaha.
Back to work I go, will update photos and findings once I get to dipping.

All my frag tanks have a tang, sixline, and lawnmower blenny. Perfect trio for frag or QT tanks. (Tang only if you have at least a 4 foot long tank)

Thanks!

Delayed update. I have lost some of my UC tricolor which is one of the two I saw them on originally. I fragged the stalk off and the rest is doing well. I have also lost a red dragon acro, but that was more than likely through the dipping and transferring as it showed no signs before. A few little pieces that broke off during the transfer didn’t make it. All in all though, everything is looking on the upswing.
Only had 1 maybe 2 on the last dip of Coral RX.

Keep fighting the good fight. I just came to the realization I also have AEFW in my DT.

I got all sps pulled today and into QT. Dipped with CoralRX. I’m debating switching to Bayer, but might just stay the course with CoralRX if it goes alright.

Also looking at adding a yellow coris wrasse to the QT. Can’t hurt, right?

I need to epoxy or scrape the encrusted bits in the display still and then the clock starts. I expect to have some losses along the way but hopefully something will make it. :)

You are not alone.

Glad you caught it early! Same here. Been getting the qt all setup and sticking with the Coral RX regiment. Going well so far. I think I’m doing Bayer, manicuring, and replugging the whole lot next round. I too need to scrape the display so the clock there hasn’t started yet either.
Wish you all the best as well in the battle.

Good call too, I didn’t even think about epoxy on the bits I can’t get out. Thanks!
