Floating par 38 canopy

Here is my design for a custom drilled 40 breeder.

Instead of wasting energy trying to light an entire tank, I will instead have two coral bombies. One will host a bubble tip anenome and the spot light effect will hopefully keep him in place rather than roaming all over the tank.

Fish will also enjoy shaded areas that aren't blasted with intense lighting all day.

I'm not getting back into a SPS dominated tank again. It was too much attention than I want anymore.

I'll have a few small LPS, but mostly Zoas, Xenia, and other softies.

I am leaning towards this also,
I loved my par38 from rapidled
It grew all my lps and softies.
What height level are you keeping yours off the water and what degree lens?
