probably ok??? No one wants to say it's gonna be fine bc no one wants to be the one to give you bad advise. The stand is designed to sit flush on the floor, so it would be preferable to have smashed shims under the full span of the base. It's hard to say. Your first picture made it look like one side was maybe 1/4" lower than the rest. I sort of envisioned one shim under each corner on the low side with some others stuffed in and sheered off to fill up the voids. I didn't spend an hour or so with it feeling the irregularities in the floor and wiggling the level. I imagine he's got it pretty well set.

I wouldn't worry about the front to back (the short sides of the stand) as much as the front and back. It would be nice to smush some more in there so that longer length of stand has some more support. Still, it's never going to be perfect. You're on top of a carpet, a carpet pad, then either old hardwood or particle board.
