Flow questions

Ok off to the big boy thread....

I have a 300DD with a coast to coast overflow. I run a fuge off of a reeflo dart, I have 2 K4's, 1 K2 and a Sicce 4 in this thing for flow. I am thinking of going the route using two Vortech MP60's, what do you all think?

I think that two MP60's would be very nice in that tank. You might want to use one of your existing power heads under the rock ledge in the middle of the tank and the two MP60's, one each side.

Mike, tank looks very sweet!!! If you go with the MP60s, put one in the back right corner and and left front corner to create a gyre type flow! The Koralias can add flow through the rock work, like goat said.

Looks great, Mike. I'm upgrading, too, and had planned on a ton of Tunze's (already have 7 of them, so kind of a no brainer).

What are the dims on the tank, Mike?

Tank is 6 feet long by 3 feet wide by 27" tall. I have one spare setup and am thinking of setting it up as a frag tank.

2" taller than mine

. I'm torn on how to set up aquascaping. I'm thinking several isolated bummies, but not sure. The corals will dictate some of that... Hoping to finish the stand tomorrow and get some water in it (and hooked into the system) by Wednesday.

Gary I started with three islands and as I started to place corals and suck I realized I was out of room for the big ones. I also had a clam attached to a shelf so once I added one I added the second one and that's how I ended up with two caves. The biggest problem I had was the aquascaping but luckily my wife has an eye for it, so it was no turn turn right up turn there make it stay........

Gary here is a few shots, my wife however was like a Chinese tourist with the camera and took about 150 pictures last night so I am just adding the link to my photo bucket you and anyone else can go look at the photos there.

She surprised me with a nice photo of a Chevron Tang and it is in MY HER tank, I have always wanted one.

Its not me man its Dani she is kicking ars and taking names.... She asked me last night how to increase the ALK and CAL dosing it isnt dosing enough. REALLY my wife noway.
