I don’t think it’s snail eggs, I have two turbo snails that I’ve had for about two years..definitely not eggs

I don’t think this coraline! The whole tank is glowing orange now! The hue in the water is orange!

Bright orange marks on the glass too, the whole tank has an orange hue to it, my camera can’t pick it up, it’s almost like an orange radioactive tank, in my partners words “ what have you done in your tank, something orange looks likes it’s exploded” it’s popping under the antics so it’s nothing like leaching rust.

The strange thing is, the water does not look cloudy like a bacterial bloom yet it looks like a fluorescent orange bacteria bloom...but it’s not cloudy.

Interesting. Have you done anything or added anything to the tank recently?

Hard to say, but I have had fluorescent orange sponges in the past. If one got cut up or mangled it may spread. There are many Coralline species too with different types of growth. Did you start with live rock? How old is the tank?

Even with only whites my camera does not pick it up very well, what ever it is my cleaner shrimp are picking at the orange on the back wall.

Tank is 2 years old, was originally pukani. Only thing I’ve added in the last few weeks is a couple of frags, hydrophora, guttatus.

Hermits and a conch

Thank you.
A closer picture to see the structure of the organism would be appreciated.

Some types of algaes (generally red ime ) will fluoresce when theyre. dying , sevral corallines too.
Generally that’s noted with asterimas leaving pollka dots.

I've had several spots of bright flourescent orange algae pop up from time to time. Wish it would stick around and grow but it is gone in a few days. May be die back as mentioned above. I Don't know

It seems to have gone completely, no reoccurring radioactive algae. I’ve been having problems lately with my corals sulking and since this has vanished, they are looking much better. I wonder if this algae/bacteria had been responsible. Maybe a type of cyano/dinoflagellates
