Ive been given some dead brain coral and another one that I've bleached, rinsed and am drying. Is there a spray paint that can be used to give some 'pop' highlights once I put them in my reef tank? I see different opinions, but looking for some bright green or red/orange highlights to put some pop on them until they are covered by natural growth

That’s a tough call. You would need the MSDS for the paint to ensure it doesn’t have any toxic components. Or - if the paint is approved for human food contact, it would be safe. Some epoxies are aquarium safe.

I’ve found that regular paints tend to flake off. Then, when algae grows on the surfaces, it really dulls the colors.

Following, I don't think I have heard of anyone doing this before.
