Anyone have any experience feeding fluval bug bites to their saltwater fish? I have these for my freshwater tanks and will likely never use the full container. I try to diversify my feeding a bit and wonder if this would cause a problem.

I've fed them a couple times and my fish happily accept it and my Crab gets them too.

I don't see why it would be an issue but you never know with this stuff

Real bugs? I have no experience with this food but in moderation I would guess it’s fine, but maybe not the staple food but rather a treat or just some diversity in food items.

Yeah. It's sold as a "tropical formula" and the ingredients are actually good on it

"Ingredients: Black soldier fly larvae, salmon, fish protein concentrate, green peas, potato, wheat, dicalcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, DL-methionine..."

I'm trying to find different foods but the tank is so small I only use like 1/3 of a cube of food and ilk waste my frozen food

Looks a bit low in protein IMO, and seems to rely a bit heavier on supplements rather than just good feeds than I'd prefer. Could be interesting as a supplement for things like Archerfish though.

Personally, since you're trying to avoid frozen and any waste, I'd suggest TDO Chroma Boost pellets as the main feed supplemented with NLS Marine Fish pellets. Alternatively, things like clam on half-shell and blackworms (particularly live blackworms) make good feed as well.
