Welcome to the forum and the Salinity SideHi, I’ve joined the site today and have been asked to about creating a build thread, and I think it would be a really fun idea! So i figured I’ll keep you all up to date with the progress!
Day 1:
Tank arrived! Can’t wait to fill this with water, sand, and rocks!
Day 2: Sand and water are filled, salinity is a bit high, so in my next water change, I’ll just have to fill with freshwater. The nitrogen cycle has yet to start, according to my tests, but I’m sure the die off of live rocks should help.
Normal swim pattern! Clowns are super wierd in my experience you will know something is wrong, labored gasps side swimming for long periods sitting on sanded etc etc. Lookin good!Is Nemo struggling with his swimming or is this a normal swimming pattern?
Thanks!Normal swim pattern! Clowns are super wierd in my experience you will know something is wrong, labored gasps side swimming for long periods sitting on sanded etc etc. Lookin good!
I have three fish currently. I had gotten a sharknose goby but immediately returned it because it had ich. I’m still planning on getting one just from a different store.nice so u have 3 fish now? u could prob add a sharknose/neon and a damsel and that's it tbh so 5 in total that's actually a lot for a 14g tanks is prob stick with 4 for ease of maintenance also if ur gonna do 4-5 prob get the fluval sea skimmer design Ed for the tank it'll help? with bioload
And do what with it? The store won’t take it back, I have no backup tanks, and there’s no one who would take it.My guess is that stress is not helping, I would pull the gramma.
