Hey, does anyone know why my fluval filter randomly turned off? I have the fluval hang on the back 30 gallon filter (the aqua clear one) and i came home today to it being off and it was still plugged in, so i tried filling some more water in it thinking maybe it just didnt have enough water but it wouldn’t run nor make any noise. I plugged it out since I noticed the motor was very hot. I am thinking it overheated. Any idea?

I am a big fan of these AquaClear filters, and in my experience they don't really break, they just sometimes get jammed. Try removing the impeller and make sure there's nothing that's causing it to stop turning, like a piece of sand or something.
