Hey

just wondering how people have configured their 3 chambers on the Fluval Sea evo 13?

my set up is as follows:

chamber 1 - empty!
Chamber 2 - stock media sponge with those small bio pellet things in the bottom of the media sponge
Chamber 3 - stock pump. Fluval heater

here’s a pic

I know some people put a fuge in chamber 2 or use intank media basket.

What do you put in the intank baskets?

TIA

Would anyone have pictures of their chamber set up? And what the have in each section? I’m considering the Fluval Evo this week and additional chambers. I was thinking of trying to get a mini five there so any inspiration helps ;)

Update on this, I got the Fluval Evo a day later and waiting on the D-Flow chambers to arrive and will set up then. Any pics would be great if someone has similar

Chamber #1 InTank basket with two layers of carbon infused pad and one layer of 50 micron pad in the top.
ChemiPure Elite and a bag of carbon in the next (middle) level and bio-balls in the bottom level.
Chamber #2 Heater and UV lamp
Chamber #3 Sicce 1.0 return pump with a SpinStream outlet.

I converted chamber 1 to the intank basket and it's WAY better! Chamber 2 I made a fuge, scraped the glass and put an amazon light on it and it has been great. Chamber 3, same as you.
Been thinking about using chamber 2 as a fuge, how’s it working out for you?

Hello. I’m very late to this post but after looking at the water levels in the first picture I have to ask how you are maintaining that? Mine is running very low in all 3 chambers and has been for some time and no matter what I do I can’t seem to get them up. I currently have the chamber 1 rack with filter floss on the top and bio balls at the bottom in a rack. 2 is empty and 3 has the pump. Heaters are in the display tank due to the low water level.
Hope I’m not too late to this post and would appreciate any advice.
