FNF Black Hole Sun Acan

what happened to this acan from FnF?......i know a group of reefers split the colony a while back and i'm trying to locate a frag.....

It went to a group from the NWIMAS club. I have a small frag of it at home. I will get a pic up tonight if lghts are still on when I make it home.

Yes I think 6 or 7 of us from nwimac.org bought the colony and split it up. That i know of it has only been fragged 2-3 times now. I believe one was lost after fragging. Here is a pic from when i first got my frag. I have seen it in everyones tank(except roshi719's) and it looks diffrent in almost every tank. Its still one of the best acans i have ever seen.

Wow, what a bumber - that thing was insane when it came in. You win some you lose some. I have some like that to. INSANE when I got them wild, then great to good after they are aquacultured.
Still a nice acan though.

I have a frag, and very dissapointed in color. Original photo looked way photoshopped. May need a ton of blue and maybe LED to get it to look good.

The Black hole sun acan has the best coloration and pattern I have seen in an acan lord yet. I was one of the lucky ones from the group buy and is my fav. piece in the tank. The coloration is very dependent on lighting. I lower light the colors become darker and more prominent, in higher light it becomes much lighter and more Aussie looking. I currently have it sitting in the shadows of my tank and looks much like the original pic.
