Food for Tangs

What kind of pellets people out here feeding there Tangs.

I'm trying to get some ides

I just got a nice yellow Tang from sustainabe aquatics eating pellets

I have a powder blue, achilles, yellow, clown, and sohal and they eat formula 1 and formula 2 pellets. I have had them all for a long time and are all fat and healthy. In fact, besides what they graze on off the rocks, formula 1 and 2 is the only food I have given my fish for 4 years now and they are all in great health fat with good color.

I just feed whatever I have and mine are healthy and happy! :) I feed flake and frozen. Just whatever I am feeling. I used to think you had to hang seaweed but I havent done that for over a year now.

i feed mine new life spectrum and my tang in the tank with some algae problems doesnt even eat algae at all....... . . . . . of course

LOL. These are tank raised Tangs, and he will only touch pellets.

I would almost bet the house that he will eat anything if you give it some time. :D

+1 to what Rev said, When that tang settles into your tank a bit he will try anything that hits the water. The pellets are fine though, like i said formula 1 and 2 are great products if you want to stick with pellets, as well as many others too. I gave up on the seaweed clips along time ago too.....

My yellow eats New Life Spectrum, formula 1 and 2, nori sheets, Rod's food and PE mysis. Give him time just like Rev said.
