Hmmm weird.. I have no clue what those are.. are they actually alive and move? Is there anything in the tank besides copper? Like, rocks, substrate etc?
Yeah they move, pretty quick too for their size! And yeah Ive got a rock and sand cause this used to be my nano before moving to a bigger tank and then my trigger scratched the heck out of it in QT, so now strictly QT

Not sure what they are.. but sand and rocks will mess with your copper levels as it binds them and makes treatment really hard..
Yeah I constantly measure and add more as needed. Dont have a good way to get the sand out, theres only one live rock piece in there just to band the nori to for my tang. Shes pretty healthy looking so Im not too worried about it! Shes my last fish Im adding so when shes out Ill take the tank apart and convert it to a hospital tank with PVC and bare bottom. Recovering from abdominal surgery so I cant really do anything to convert it until I can move around better and stuff!

Sand and a little rock is fine for QT, as long as you dose to compensate for the amount that binds to maintain therapeutic copper target ranges.
