I just bought a fox face and I placed him in a quarintine tank with no coper. I am feeding him seaweed, pelets, mysis but he is not eating at all. He is loosing his color and hides from the light. The water parameter is good, and in the fish store he was yellow and healthy, so I have no clue what can be the situation.

Can anyone help me out with my problem.

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

Can you post a picture of your setup?

How long has the fish been in your QT?

What is the ammonia level and how are you testing for it?

Is it breathing rapidly?

The Fox Face will change color when stressed or frightened that is normal for them. Ammonia is always a big suspect in a QT setup just keep an eye on it

My foxface was like that too, I used a product called “Garlic Guard” Once i used that product he went right after the food.

It is a liquid mixture you add to your food

He can also be stressed so give him a day or two.

Garlic is both an enticer to feed and immunity system building block.+
LRS herbivore diet, spirulina brine shrimp and mysis shrimp are foxface favorites.

@Jay Hemdal asked pertinent questions to assure nothing in form of flukes or parasites is going on in tank.

Also how old is tank and how long did you cycle it as this fish is not a good first fish choice.

Temp should be 77-79
salinity 1.024-1.025
Ph should be 7.9-8.3
ammonia < .03
nitrate < .04
Phosphate < .04
