Frag Growth

How fast do frags grow, New to the frags, when I had a tank the LFS only carried full size corals. Any one have timeline pictures of frag growth by chance.

All frags grow st different rates. Lighting plays a big role as well. Water chemistry is a big part of growth also. What is the frags you are asking about?

Oh man that totally depends on the Frag and the keeper but I can say that in 6 months to a year I’m usually pretty happy with the growth

Here’s some pics of the 30 gal softy tank I put in my little boys room At the beginning and one year later. Everything started out as frags and totally neglected this tank.

That is fantastic didn't know they grew that fast, I had no specific item in mind Brandon. My tank many years ago didn't have corals ran a couple clowns one bad butt Blue Damsel never did catch the little devil, Mandrin, Anemone and a couple feather dusters, trying to figure out what to setup, so many things have changed for the better. As a general rule of thumb softies grow fastest, then LPS, then SPS. That’s not necessarily true with everything though. For example; I’ve had some monti caps outgrow My acan garden and some birds nest outgrow my Zoa garden so it just depends with some corals they are all different and with mixed reef tanks one type is going to do better than the others since they all like their own specific lighting, flow, and parameters...
