Does anyone here keep frag racks in their sump? I really hate the way frag racks look in a DT so I'm considering making one section of my sump my "frag tank". My corals are getting big enough that I'm going to need to trim them from time to time.

I plan to use my existing power supply that still has capacity to whip up a DIY 14 Led light with lfs drivers. I'll just put the leds on some Channel. Then I'll throw in a Jaebo powers head.

Anyone else growing frags in your sump? I'd love to see picks for ideas.

I did it for a long time but I have a separate frag tank now. I used 2 par38 leds and grew sps just fine. I don't think I have a pic of it anymore. I used shoplight clamps from Lowe's and clamped them to the side of the sump with a magnetic frag rack underneath.

Yup! Just started doing this. Great idea. All I have to do is update the LEDs and I'm set. All I do right now is leathers and Xenia. It pays for supplies.

Well...my sump started with the same idea as you, but.....it has now transformed in to a Colorado Sunburst haven lol.
