Free swiming worms at night

there are probably 10-15
1/2 inch squiggly worms that zoom up down and around the tank pretty fast. They swim. They only come out at night. They are white. And they move like a snake moves to swim.

Any idea what they are?

Probably epitokes, they're part of a worm modified for reproduction. I'm no expert, hopefully someone else will chime in and give you more info.
