Frogspawn covered in Brown Jelly??

Does this look like the frogspawn is covered in brown jelly?

Coral was receding yesterday and today looks like the attached pictures.

The corals have had brown spots appear on them for months. They looked more like they are browning due to lights or trace element issues and not jelly which is why I was not concerned until now.

Any help would be appreciated! It is not possible to remove the frogspawn from the rock for treatment.

Brown jelly looks like brown/pink snot/mucous if that helps. Generally-speaking, when you get BJD your coral bleaches and dies very quickly - with BJD and any coral remnants clinging to the dead spots.

If it were brown jelly, the polyps would be gone (or mostly so) and there would just be brown snot on the skeleton.

I dont see brown jelly but appears to be a bacterial infection often caused by poor water quality (elevated nitrate or Phos), warm temperature above 80, lack of flow or loss of zooxanthellae due to lack of proper light intensity
Blow gently with turkey baster and see if it dislodges. Generally BJD wont and bacteria will separate. Siphon up what you blow loose right away with a 3/8" tubing or siphon
