frogspawn help

I think i figured it out! I caught my clown trying to host in the frogspawn, this thoroughly ticked it off... Could this end up nuking it?

go figure... i blow the money on a nice sebae anemone and my clown tries to host a frogspawn and my anemone shrimp hosts in a patch of GSP!!

Laughing- that could be it. I don't doubt a fish hosting in a smaller or already stressed frogspawn would be trouble.

I keep watching my little fish as they get more and more comfortable near my frogspawn (been in the tank just one week). I'm gonna get real ticked if they try to swim through it.

Did you ever settle how you have such high Ca without throwing your KH out of wack? I really suck at chemistry, but it seems odd to me to have Ca so high while keeping a normal KH level.

I'd also be interested in your Mag levels.

What supps and filter media are you using?

One final thing- you said flow is medium, but you might still try throttling back the flow just a bit more for a day and see if there is any diff.

no i never figured out anything with the calcium, and i dont have a mag test kit. Things are actually looking a little better, its finally got all 3 heads extended somewhat more than none.
for filter media i have live rock rubble, and a small packet of phosX, also i have a very small filter running in the fuge with a small amount of carbon.
