My frogspawn appears to be opening? With many smaller clear tentacles in the center. Is it unhappy? Super happy? Splitting?

Maybe it’s just totally normal but it started doing this recently so if it’s an indicator I’d like to know.

thanks!

Doesn’t look like full opening to me. Could be splitting. A lot of my corals seem to close up right before they reproduce. I’ve got a lot of frogspawn and they became unhappy when I had some ammonia and phosphates in the water. Here’s a picture of a small frag but is half open IMO.

It’s definitely not happy, mouths gaping, check to make sure parameters are in line. Alk or salinity swings, too much flow are potential causes, could be other contaminants in water column causing it too. If you’re able to run activated carbon I would suggest doing so.
