i have a 55 gallon and i had the frogspawn on the bottom, it was opening up nice but now it seems it is not open as it use to be. I have good water flow. I noticed the other day when i came home that the anemone was attached to the frogspawn and now that head is gone.

should it be on the bottom or middle of the tank???

I have a smaller frag of frogspawn, i placed it close to the top of the tank with moderste flow in that particular area and the coral looks great. I would try aclimating it closer towards the top

How long have you had it? To much current will cause it to stay shrunken. Depending on your lighting they do pretty much fine high or low jus be sure that it isn't getting to much flow and it should start to open up more every day
