My frogspawn tipped a bit and two tentacles are touching my duncan. I didn’t want to harm them by trying to pull apart. What should I do? Also since this happened the duncan looks a bit bigger. TIA

I have to think that the frogspawn will eventually win the fight. The Duncan is not super aggressive, but I've seen frogspawns attack many other corals. The results can be quite devastating if there is not sufficient separation.

If they were only touching for a bit and you've separated them, things will be just fine.

I had a frogspawn attack a nearby lobophyllia last week. I caught it early enough where there was no permanent damage.

you're lucky it's only stinging something nearby, one of my frogspawn has learned a long range battle technique. it sends out stingers that are shaped to catch the current and spin. they twist until the flesh rips and a little package of stinging tentacles float around the tank until it lands on another coral...
