Trying to gauge interest in the fixture that I'm currently using on my SPS Dominant 20H (see pictures below) before selling it. The ONLY reason that I'm looking to sell this fixture is that I'm tossing around the idea of using 3 Par38 LEDs over the tank instead just to mix things up, try something different, and see what results I can get.

The Fixture

What's Included

  • Aquatinics Fixture (sell for $399 new)
  • Mounting Brackets (sell for $30 new)
  • 2 x ATI Blue +
  • 1 x Aquascience 22k
  • 1 x ATI Aquablue Spezial
  • 1 x Fiji Purple

The Details
Total If Bought New

  • Fixture - $400
  • Brackets - $30
  • Bulbs - if each were $20, which they're not, $100
  • Total - $530

Each bulb is under 8 months old so they have at least another solid 6 months of "juice" left in them. The fixture is virtually blemish free with just one spot where something must have gotten on it and just slightly discolored the finish. Honestly, I take very good care of my equipment...to the point where I actually used some Klasse cleaner on this fixture to protect against wear and tear. I am more than happy to take pictures of the fixture, heat shield, etc.

Asking Price

  • Fixture, Bulbs, and Brackets = $390
  • Shipping = Exact Cost (no charge for box, peanuts or other stuff people charge for)

Reply back on here or PM me if you're potentially interested. This is the second Aquatinics fixture that I've owned and it's truly a rock solid, high end unit.

Thanks buddy. Hope that Sunpod is still working out for ya.

Yup the sunpod has been great...just recently hooked up Evil's (from nano-reef) actinic leds to it...looks amazing. if it wasnt for that and christmas i might be considering this fixture! LOL

What's the price minus the bulbs? I only run my bulbs for 9 months...

$300 is about as low as I can go without including the bulbs. I only run my lights 7 hours a day so the bulbs last a lot longer...at least for me they do. I've run T5s up to 13 months before without any shift in spectrum.
