Strange spots for sure, curious of the culprit when you figure it out. Fingers crossed for you that it's nothing serious and treatable or maybe you can just leave it alone with some supplemented feedings and let it run its course.

My long nose is a lovely little character, very inquisitive and now hand fed!
Mine is almost to that point. I am trying to handfeed my clowns to get them over biting me and he will swim almost to my hand.
