Does anyone have long success with Fungia? Are they that difficult to keep long term?

They are easy and will move to touch other plates if you have more than one

I have a (cf) Danafungia that I have kept for a few months now with success.

I also have never seen a true Fungia in the hobby

I have had a few. They truly seem to do better with 2. Touching. Maybe it's a natural drive to reproduce?

Yeah same I dont know why some are really finicky but my oldest one is ~6-7 inches across? Got him right when I started reefing close to 10 years old now.

But yeah some I bought receded like yours after a couple of months, never could pin pointed why but fragging it like a pizza did save my latest one from totally dying. 3 of the 5 frag survived and regrew a mouth.

Gonna try to save it with KFC dip. Tomorrow is a day
