So we have an fx4 filter, and the canisters started spewing bubbles. We unplugged the filter to check if there was something in there-there wasn’t. So we put it back together and plugged it in, but now it sounds like the filter is making noises that seem similar to a dishwasher/washing machine. It’ll make that noise for a couple of minutes, stop making the noise for a few seconds, then make it again. That’s the best way I can describe it. Any idea on why it’s making this sound and if it will burn out the motor? FYI we’ve had this filter for around 3-4 years and was cleaned a month ago. The noise wasn’t an issue until we unplugged and drained it

I'd check the suction side of the pump. Mine usually sounds like that when it starts sucking air from somewhere. Sloshing sound, followed by spurts of air bubbles, normal for a few hours, then slosh and air bubbles again.
