It looks good, but time will tell. The tank is still very new and not stabilized yet.

That is exactly why I don't have a Galaxea
I never kept one for these reasons

But a friend had me add one on his order and I’ve had it in my frag tank a few months…I’m a fan now. I don’t want to give it away, I just want to keep it and grow it out lol

I keep it isolated on a magnetic solo frag plug holder, away from other things.

Thank you very vibrant colors

Is that bad?
Not necessarily. Galaxea can be aggressive. Sweepers are what they use to sting other nearby corals. It's also what they use to pull in food I believe.

The coral itself looks healthy and happy.

Bad is relative. It is good for the Galaxea but can be problematic for its neighbors. When people say they are aggressive and have long sweepers, it is no exaggeration. They will absolutely sting the heck out of anything they can reach.

This piece was about the size of a tennis ball. This is not the longest extension I've seen from it.

Sounds good I just wasn’t sure about the timeframe it’s supposed to start acting normal

Well I guess it’s good mines already ticked off at everything around it… must be comfortable 😂
