Been awhile since my last update.

some happenings over the hiatus.

-had another dinoflagellate scourge, went experimental and treated with clindamyicin. Goal here was to target the chloroplasts. Since the mode of action against malaria targets thats parasites apicoplasts, a evolutionary similar organelle. no more dinos, some corals bleached a little, are recovering.

-started working more on feed additives for fish. so far in the works are a antioxidant and an aggression reducer.

-no new corals, will wait for the khd to be up and running for bit before i add more.

What is your process on the food additives?

Both are primarily amino acids and vitamins.

I have tested the antioxidant more than the aggression one.
So will talk about that one first.
Goal was to find a way to reduce stress and increase immune response through GSH reductase. Test subjects so far have been mainly guppies where i was able to keep guppies at their lsd50 96 hrs Cu concentration for over 2 months. I sanitized the dropper bottles in first an acid, then naoh, then put in an autoclade.
Dose is 2 drops per tblsp. Of food and mix with a binder.

Aggression i am still in the initial testing phase to understand a dosage. But is based on neurotransmitter 5HT and hormone balance. I have not completed a test that says this has an effect yet.

About as far as i am willing to travel down the designer clown train. Interesting without looking engineered lol.

both with a hippo tang that is going in a different tank that ill eventually make a build thread for. Tang was a bit iffy when i got home so had his own 30 minute mb bath. And all are in metroplex atm. Tang still hiding behind my pump. Clowns ate, hippo did not.

Sorry I have been so quite these last several months. There were some life events, then a move...

With all this I am officially tankless for the first time in I don’t remember how long lol.
