Going to the store today to pick either a gem tang or white tail bristletooth. I have a yellow tang in my 120g display so I just don’t know if a gem would be too aggressive. Both fish are almost evenly priced at 3/400$ I think because the gems are going to be very small. Let me know thoughts please

I just purchased both and added to my tank at same time. I had 5 other tangs already and the gem tang has been the least Aggressive of all of them. Whitetail is one of my smaller tangs and holds his own just fine.

Seems very expensive for white tail imo

if you have the money…gem tang… but why pay so much for that when you can get the same performance with a whitetail?

could spend the rest of the money to buy other stuff for your tank :)

Both. Or if just one. I would vote Gem Tang as I have always wanted one.
