Georgonian possibly???

Not sure what this is. It decided to start growing out of my polyps. I have nothing like it in my tank. Its growing about a quarter to half inch a week. looks like small twigs. Any ideas?

Looks more like a thin sponge. Any other coral would get stung by the polyps around it.

I was talking to someone at my LFS and he pointed out one that he has. Told me it was a sponge.... Wishful thinking on my part I guess...lol
