Frag/angler tank has been drilled. Both are now ready for overflow boxes. Some may ask why I’m using overflow boxes instead of just pipe screens. The big reason is I’m putting cut filter sponges to trap large particles and loose macro algae since they will be draining directly into the return chamber of the sump. I want the pods to go to the main tank but I’ll try and avoid any macro from getting there. Since there will be potential of these clogging up I’m installing a level sensor in the over flow boxes that will stop the feed pump to the small cube tanks and the manifold if it gets too high. This will all be hidden in the overflow boxes as not to distract from the look of the tanks. You can see in the pictures that there will be plenty of room inside the overflow boxes to house all this. I’m also leaving enough room between the overflow and the side so I can get get a scrubber in between for glass cleaning.
