Just got it all setup! Cycle time!

I’m trying the link to create a fish tank thread but it’s not directing me to create one, can this one be switched to my tank build?

Looking for some feedback on my rockscape. Should I add more rock?

I tested my water this morning and nitrate is 0
Nitrite is 0
PH is 7.8
Ammonia is .25

I dosed with Fritz 9 when I setup on Friday.

I would go to this link and start a thread here about your tank:

Then click here, and follow Step 2 to get your build thread badge for under your avatar:

When you started your tank, did you add any source of ammonia besides the bacteria?

I started the tank will dry live rock, live sand and Fritz 9.

Sounds like you also need a source of ammonia to give the bacteria something to "eat" so that they can grow to a population large enough to support your future fish and other livestock. You can dose something like Dr. Tim's Ammonium Chloride or Fritz Fish-less Fuel for ammonia, or you can add some fish food even when you don't have fish (the food breaks down and increases ammonia), or you could even add a piece of shrimp from the seafood market. You do need to get the ammonia up to about 2.0 ppm to get your cycle started.
